Sint-Paulus

Music

‘Music at Saint-Paul’s’ has set itself the task of allowing the musical heritage of Christian culture to resonate optimally in our church. We do this with orchestral and choral masses as well as with concerts and of course via livestream. Music is simply in Saint-Paul’s DNA.

Music at Saint-Paul's

Music in Sint-Paulus is an entity in itself, legally cast in a non-profit organization.

The supporting trio behind it consists of two professional musicians (director and organist) and a passionate and accomplished volunteer (chairman).

Sacred music

The musical offer at Saint-Paul’s is as diverse as it is qualitative. Both acclaimed soloists and renowned choirs bring religious music to you that takes you to higher realms.

If you want a tailor-made musical mass at a funeral or wedding, you can dive into our sacred media library.

Concerts

The concerts that Music at St Paul’s organizes are in line with the liturgical calendar.

The Holy Week gets its Passion Concert, the month of May and/or August feature Marian compositions, we accompany All Souls’ Day with a requiem while a Christmas oratorio makes the hearts rejoice. We want to perform beautiful music in the places and on the occasions for which they were written.

Livestream

Music at St Paul’s was one of the first organisations to use the potential of livestreaming in Belgium.

Ever since 2014 St Paul’s has been sharing it’s musical tradition with the world using this modern technology. People who are not (or no longer) able to join their congregation can take part in the service from a distance. People who live or travel abroad can still enjoy a great Antwerp tradition.
