Antwerp Marathon

gepost op: 18 October 2024

The Antwerp Marathon will not make it easy for us next Sunday, because the runners start at 9 am.

At kilometer 28 they pass Sint-Paulusstraat. The fast runners may already pass our large gate at the start of Sunday mass (10:30 am). At a moderate speed this will only be about 3 hours later, so we expect long-term disruption.

This also means that tram line 7 will not run normally. The final stop that day is the National Bank. It only runs back to Het Eilandje after 6:30 PM.

For the Eucharist celebration, visit to the church and the piano recital on Sunday afternoon, we recommend coming to Sint-Paulus by bicycle or other trams. Lines 4, 5, 9 or 15 take you quickly to the Groenplaats and then it is exactly 700 meters to Sint-Paulus.

2pm - 5 pm, until end of February
