During all Sunday services, music is played in the St. Paul’s Church. This can be organ accompaniment by our organist or a mass with soloists or choir. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the ‘friends of Saint Paul’ offer guided tours of the crypt and the archaeological site to individual visitors. There is a fixed tour at 3 pm, but depending on the number of guides on duty, additional tours may be organized in an afternoon.
The number of participants per guided tour is limited to eight. Because of the stairs it is only suitable for people with a good physical condition. Participation is included in the entrance fee of the church.
Practical: to give every visitor a chance to participate, we do not work with reservations in advance. At the box office, the visitor can register on the spot for these tours before or after purchasing an entrance ticket.
Do you wish to visit the crypt and the archaeological site with a group? Go to ‘guided tours’.
Entrance for tourist visit:
Enter the large gate next to Sint-Paulusstraat 22. You walk in through the gate and enter the large, quiet Lourdes garden, with a beautiful view of the church, its tower and the monastery ruins.
We are wheelchair accessible via the gate on the corner of the Zwartzustersstraat and the Veemarkt. Call no .+32 470/908700 during opening hours and we will open the gate for you and escort you to the wheelchair lift.
Entrance for Sunday Mass:
Via the Sint-Paulusstraat main entrance or corner Veemarkt/Zwartzusterstraat.
We send a weekly newsletter with activities and information from the Saint Paul’s community.
